Design & Construction

The Brewmancer Origami Coffee Dripper Holder is a handmade wooden base engineered specifically for the Origami pour-over dripper. The design prioritizes fit, stability, and repeatability — providing a wood option that performs with the same confidence as the original plastic base.

The surfaces that interface with the dripper are precision-generated using CNC machining, allowing the complex Origami geometry to be accurately recreated in wood. This ensures the dripper seats properly and remains level over a cup or carafe, avoiding the instability common with decorative wooden holders.

Beyond the interface, the form is intentionally restrained. The outer profile and undercut base are hand-turned on the lathe, then sanded smooth to produce a clean, balanced silhouette. Each piece is finished by hand to ensure consistent feel and durability.

Material & Fit

This holder supports both plastic and ceramic Origami drippers. Plastic drippers provide the closest fit due to material tolerances, though both materials sit securely in the base.

Each piece is made from solid hardwood. Wood selection influences appearance, but not function.

• Walnut offers rich color and straight grain for a more understated look
  
• Bird’s Eye Maple features dense grain patterns and natural figuring, resulting in a more visually expressive surface

Brewmancer Perspective

This piece was designed to offer a functional wooden alternative that fits as precisely as the plastic Origami base, without compromising usability. CNC processes are used where precision is required; hand work is used where it improves form and feel.

The crown of the base is shaped to highlight the natural structure of the wood without exaggeration, allowing the material to speak for itself. Subtle Brewmancer branding is applied to the underside only, identifying the piece without distracting from the brew bar.

The form is restrained and purpose-driven. Edges, profiles, and proportions are shaped to support use first, with visual balance emerging as a result.

Hand-Finished Surface

Each piece is sanded smooth and finished by hand to provide a consistent feel while allowing the character of the wood to remain present.

Subtle Branding

Brewmancer branding is applied discreetly—typically to the underside or interior—so it identifies the piece without distracting from its use.

Each piece is handcrafted from solid hardwood and finished by hand to enhance durability while preserving the natural character of the wood.

Care Instructions:

• Wipe clean with a dry or lightly damp cloth after brewing

• Avoid prolonged exposure to moisture

• Do not submerge in liquid

• Store in a dry environment away from extreme heat

Because wood is a natural material, grain patterns, color, and figure will vary from piece to piece. These variations are part of what makes each piece unique and are not considered defects.

If there is an issue with your order, please contact us within 30 days of delivery. Returns are accepted for unused items in original condition.

Due to the handcrafted nature of our products, natural wood variations are expected and do not qualify as defects. Custom or altered items are not eligible for return.
